Open Discussion on the ASI Honor Code of Ethics (Tenet #18)

At our ASI community meeting on August 28th, we discussed ASI Honor Code of Ethics Tenet #17: “Never abusing the trust of students to obtain sexual gratification or personal benefits such as money or free labor.” Due to time constraints, we couldn’t cover Tenet #18 as planned.

Thank you to ASI members who joined us on December 4th to conclude the conversation. We appreciate your willingness to share your thoughts, views, and insights on ASI Honor Code of Ethics Tenet #18, which emphasizes “being particularly mindful of sexual boundaries with students—and honoring them at all times.”
